Gran Canaria Canyoning
If you ready to Discover Gran Canaria and looking for some Adventure & want to know the Island in a different way, then you are on the right site.
The cooldest activity and our speciality, being a reference in the Canaries
It is an activity that despite not being very popular, is one of the best options we have to discover the island. It consists of descending a ravine or canyon, following the course of the water, therefore different exercises are combined: walking, jumping, uncorking, swimming, abseiling and besides enjoying!
We are equipped with neoprene suit, helmet and personal protective equipment (harness, helmet, carabiner and eight).
From december to abril, in winter season, the ravines we most carry out are in the southwest. Bco de la Manta, Mulato, Bco del Toro or Eagle Canyon. However, in spite of being in the most desert zone of the island they are usually the ravines more mighty and amusing. Usually with jumps and slides.
In summer season we move to the center-north making descents in Bco de los Cernícalos or La Mina. For that reason they are much greener and woody, although they do not contain jumps or slides.
Requirements To Take Part In The Activity:
The only requirements are: to be able to swim and not to be afraid of heights. The age does not really matter as children up to 12 years, always acompanied by an adult, can do the activity.
What do you need?
We take care of everything! Therefore, all that a person needs to perform this activity is: running shoes (to be wet) and other shoes to change, a bathing suit, and a towel.
We work with minimum groups of 2 and maximum 8 people. Neopren and SPE, picnic consisting of fruit, chocolates, biscuits, liability and accident insurances, english speaking professional instructor and a picture report.
